Photo essay presentation

Seneca 2 Forum will host photojournalist Roopa Gogineni at 7 p.m. Thursday at the India Center, 800 Green Road (off Corridor G). The Charleston native and regular Al Jazeera contributor will share a photo essay on Kenya's Mau Mau veterans, as well as her most recent project, a documentary about Somali journalists.

The veterans are freedom fighters who suffered horrific abuse by British colonial authorities in the early 1960s. Gogineni documented their quest for justice when they sued the British government earlier this year.
