CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter Chris Tomlin performs Tuesday at the Municipal Auditorium in a show that starts at 7 p.m. His best-known songs include "How Great Is Our God,""Jesus Messiah" and "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)." He was awarded Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 GMA Dove Awards and earned a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2012 for "And if Our God is for Us." His 2013 album, "Burning Lights," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming only the fourth contemporary Christian music recording to do so.
