CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Greenbrier Classic has announced that rock 'n' roll legends Aerosmith will be part of The Greenbrier Classic Concert Series.
The band known for a slew of hits, including "Sweet Emotion," "Walk This Way" and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," will perform July 6 at the State Fair of West Virginia amphitheater in Fairlea.
Aerosmith joins Kenny Chesney on the slate of performers scheduled to play the Classic. Chesney performs July 4th.
The Greenbrier Classic is held July 1-7 in Lewisburg. The Concert Series coincides with the resort's fourth annual PGA Tour event.
Admission to the Greenbrier Classic Concert Series is included in the price of weekly Greenbrier Classic tournament badges, which are now priced at $159 per person (a reduction to the original base price of the first Greenbrier Classic). Those who have already purchased tournament badges at the $199 level can call (888) 598-7380 to receive a $40 voucher (to be redeemed at The Greenbrier and The Greenbrier Classic) or a $40 cash refund.
The Greenbrier Classic Concert Series has been a popular feature of the golf tournament. Performers in previous years have included Bon Jovi, the Black-Eyed Peas and Toby Keith.
