CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Fans of Southern rock and jam will get a midwinter taste of the summer festival scene when Gov't Mule comes to the Clay Center Feb. 22.
The show was announced Tuesday by the Clay Center.
The band, fronted by Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes, was started as a side project in the early 1990s by Haynes and now deceased Allman Brothers bassist Allen Woody. The band eventually became a staple of the summer festival concert circuit and has released 16 records. The latest, "Shout," was released in September.
