CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Generations of children grew up reading the "Narnia" books by C.S. Lewis, and another has been introduced to the Pevensie siblings and their adventures through the recent movie adaptations. Experience the magical realm live when the Alban Arts Center, 65 Olde Main St., St. Albans, stages a theatrical adaptation of the first book in the series, "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe," beginning Friday.

The 33-member cast includes Asa Miller as Mr. Tumnus, who is half goat and half human, and Rebecca Sutton as Lucy, the youngest Pevensie. Playing her siblings are Lukas Parsons (Peter), Brooke Horswell (Susan) and Kyle Casto (Edmund). Adam Bryan is the regal Aslan and Shannon Mikeal is the villainous White Witch.

Night shows Friday, Saturday and Dec. 16-17 are at 8 p.m. Matinees Sunday and Dec. 18 are at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and children under 12. Discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Call 304-721-8896 to reserve tickets.
