Paula Clendenin art show

Award-winning painter Paula Clendenin will exhibit works at Bluegrass Kitchen, 1600 Washington St. E., beginning Friday and running through the beginning of February. The artwork will cover "all available wall space" at the restaurant, owner Keeley Steele said.

Holiday exhibit closing

The seasonal Clay Center exhibit, "Illuminations: Holiday of Light," closes Saturday. It features creative trees by local artists, model railroads, intriguing collections and original artwork by emerging artists. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Saturday. Landau Murphy performances

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. has been confirmed for a Jan. 20 concert at the Beckley-Raleigh Convention Center. Tickets for the show are $37 for floor seats and $27 for balcony seats. The singer also will perform a 30-minute set during the Clay Center and Charleston Ballet's "Carnavale Rio!" fundraiser on Jan. 21.
