CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- There's a 40 percent chance of rain outside Thursday, but a 100 percent chance of it at two local theaters when Great Escape Nitro and Cinemark Huntington Mall host 60th anniversary screenings of "Singin' in the Rain." The Turner Classic Movies event begins with an exclusive interview with Debbie Reynolds (the only living member of the film's three stars), followed by behind-the-scenes extras and a remastered presentation of the Oscar-nominated musical about a silent film company making a difficult transition to sound.

Showings are 7 p.m. at Great Escape Nitro and at 2 and 7 p.m. at Cinemark Huntington Mall. Tickets at Nitro are $12.50 for adults and $9.50 for children and seniors. At Huntington, they're $11.50 for adults, $10.50 for students and seniors, and $9.50 for children. Call 304-769-0405 (Nitro) or 304-733-3984 (Huntington).
