CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Alban Arts Center has a tangled web to weave with its new production of "Charlotte's Web," featuring a 66-member cast with numerous roles for spiders, barn animals and even one lone squirrel. The production of E.B. White's classic tale of a girl, a pig and one smart spider has shows at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 and 2 p.m. Sunday and Sept. 2. A free live petting zoo with ponies, goats, a pig and more begins one hour before the Saturday and Sunday shows.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and children 12 and under. The theater is at 65 Olde Main St. in St. Albans. Call 304-721-8896 or visit www.albanartscenter.com.
