Soapy drama "GCB" (starring Annie Potts, Leslie Bibb and Marisol Nichols) didn't make the cut for ABC's 2012-13 season. It will be replaced by the supernatural drama "666 Park Avenue."

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- With the networks revealing their 2012-13 schedules this week, final renewal/cancellation decisions flowed in late last week. For the most part, there were no surprises.

I was disappointed by Fox's cancellation of "The Finder," but I knew it was coming. I didn't foresee, though, ABC's cancellation of "GCB." I was bummed about that, and I wasn't the only one. In my circle of friends, several people voiced disappointment.

Also seen as a bit of a blindside was CBS' axing of "Unforgettable." It started as the No. 1 new drama but dropped in numbers through the season. Those numbers were still ones that other networks would have been pleased with. The problem is that, as the leader of the networks, CBS has higher ratings standards, and the Poppy Montgomery drama just didn't make the cut.

Below is the list of renewed and canceled shows for each network, as well as the number of new dramas and sitcoms premiering. In the coming weeks, I'll look more in depth at all the new shows.
