PARKERSBURG, W.Va. -- A Travel Channel television show about paranormal activity has filmed an episode in Parkersburg.

"Dead Files" pairs a retired homicide detective and a physical medium to solve unexplained paranormal phenomena.

Travel Channel spokeswoman Stephanie DePietro told the News and Sentinel that a crew completed filming over five days last week. She said the episode is tentatively set to be shown Nov. 30.

DePietro declined to say precisely where filming took place. Local officials said the show's producers had been talking with historians and officials about Quincy Hill, which is one of several stops on ghost tours in the area. Quincy Hill was the site of a Civil War encampment and hospital, as well as a mysterious water tank collapse in 1909.
