Director Adam Edwards will hold auditions for "Rot" from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Kanawha Players Theater, 309 Beauregard St. Roles are available for men and women ages 18 and up. Headshots and resumes are requested but not required. A script will be provided.

The female a cappella group Anonymous 4 performs in a Chamber Music Society concert at 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ Church United Methodist, 1221 Quarrier St. The quartet will perform ancient, traditional and modern works, as well as a new work created specifically for it by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang.

Youth ballet auditions
The River City Youth Ballet Ensemble will hold auditions for its Company, Junior Company and Apprentice programs at 1 p.m. Saturday at its studio, 4110 MacCorkle Ave., Kanawha City. Apprentice dancers must be at least 7 years old by Oct. 1. Company and Junior Company dancers need to have a classical ballet background. Company members must be proficient en pointe. Barbershop concertThe ThunderTones Chorus will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Barboursville Middle School auditorium. "Sentimental Journey" features favorites from the barbershop harmony group's decade of existence. Several local quartets also will perform. Admission is $10 for adults and free for students. Music Hall of Fame fundraiser in Sutton
A West Virginia Music Hall of Fame fundraiser on May 27 will feature music by Julie Adams, Larry Groce, Bob Shank, The Carpenter Ants, Blue Million and Joe Jung, as well as tours of the Hall's traveling museum, a buffet and a sneak peak at the 2013 nominees.
