CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A new episode of the web show "Radio Free Charleston" is now online at the PopCult blog (blogs.wvgazette.com/popcult). The episode shines a spotlight on Budget Tapes and Records, the legendary music and lifestyle emporium in Kanawha City, now celebrating 40 years. Host segments were shot there, and there are two songs by Farnsworth, recorded live there during the band's recent EP release party.

The episode also features a song from the Contemporary Youth Arts Company production of the Dan Kehde/Mark Scarpelli original musical, "The Legend of Ginger and Billy Joe: The Stock Car Musical," which has its final performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Capitol Center Theater, 123 Capitol St. The episode is rounded out with animation and a found-film compilation by Frank Panucci.
