Danielle Fishel played Topanga Lawrence for seven seasons on "Boy Meets World." Earlier this week, it was announced that she and Ben Savage, who played Cory Matthews, will reprise their roles in "Girl Meets World," a sequel series in the works. She's also on a sneak peek of VH1's "Miss U Much."

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- VH1 obviously couldn't have known at the time, but its timing is perfect to give a sneak peek of its new series "Miss U Much" at 10 p.m. Sunday.

The show catches up with celebrities from the '80s and '90s to see what they're doing now, much like the network's "Where Are They Now?" did from 1999-2002. Spotlighting three of the formerly famous each episode, the show is hosted by actress/comedienne Catherine Reitman (daughter of Ivan and sister of Jason), who also hosts VH1's "100 Greatest Child Stars" at 9 p.m. nightly Thursday through Sunday.

Why is the timing for this sneak peek so perfect, you ask? Well, one of the celebs appearing in Sunday's episode is Danielle Fishel, aka Topanga from "Boy Meets World."

Other '90s kids know, of course, that earlier this week, Fishel and Ben Savage signed on to reprise their roles for Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World," a sequel series in the works focusing on Riley Matthews, Cory and Topanga's pre-teen daughter. No other announcements have been made, but it's possible others from the original series will return, too.

There's been no word on whether William Daniels will return (or is even interested in returning) as Mr. Feeny, but I know I'm not the only one who fervently hopes so. After all, Cory has taken after Feeny and become a history teacher. Surely his mentor has to make an appearance, right?

And what of Shawn? As close a bond as he and Cory had, he can't just disappear forever! (Fun fact: they were the only two to appear in every episode.)

Rider Strong has worked fairly consistently since the show ended, guest starring on TV shows and appearing in indie movies, but hopefully he'll still have some love for the show that launched him and at least make some guest appearances. He got a masters in fiction and literature from Vermont's Bennington College, so maybe Shawn can have had a turn around, buckling down to become a serious student, and now he teaches English at the same school as Cory.

Update: As of Thursday morning, Strong announced he has no plans to be involved in the show.

Eric was always a favorite of mine, so maybe Will Friedle can make some time in his voice work schedule to be on the show. He stayed close with Disney Channel after the show, voicing Ron in the network's "Kim Possible" for its six-year run, and he recently popped up in an episode of "Gravity Falls."

Going back to "Miss U Much," also on Fishel's episode are Corin Nemec from "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" (one of my childhood crushes) and Jamie "How Do You Talk to an Angel?" Walters, who's now a Los Angeles fireman. Other one-time stars appearing in upcoming episodes include actors Lark Voorhies (Lisa on "Saved by the Bell"), Jeremy Miller (Ben on "Growing Pains") and Jeremy Jackson (Hobie on "Baywatch") as well as Jeff Timmons of the boy band 98 Degrees and rapper-turned-actor Romeo (who once sported Lil' in front of his name.)
