Feast of Carols

Children's sewing workshop

'God of Carnage' cast

Charleston Stage Company has cast its upcoming production of the dark comedy "God of Carnage." The four-person show, directed by Geoff Coward, will star Rob Boone, Bethany Cline Greg Harpold and Kim Javins. Performances are Jan. 17-19 and 24-26.

FestivALL art fair applications

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 FestivALL Capitol Street Art Fair, to be held June 29-30. The juried fair is dedicated to fine arts and fine craft. The early deadline, with reduced fees, is Feb. 1; the final deadline is March 1. 'Mountain Stage' shows

The Feb. 3 "Mountain Stage" concert with Kathy Mattea has already sold out. Tickets are now on sale for two other Charleston shows: Jan. 27 with Calexico, Camper Van Beethoven, Bonnie Prince Billy and Bahamas and Feb. 24 with Buddy Miller & Jim Lauderdale, Corb Lund and other acts to be announced.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 at the door. They're available through Taylor Books, www.mountainstage.musictoday.com and 800-594-8499.

Also, advance tickets for a Jan. 20 Morgantown show with Robert Earl Keen, Shelby Lynne, Rhett Miller and Black Prairie are available for $18 through Ticketmaster. At the door, they will be $23.
