Magician Joey Stepp will perform an opening set at 7:45 p.m. and another at intermission. Adam Bryant hosts the evening.

Valentine's Love Lounge

The third annual Love Lounge begins at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Ramada Limited Huntington, 3094 16th Street Road. It features smooth R&B music, a mature atmosphere, heavy hors d'oeurves and cash bar. Dress attire required; no jeans or sneakers allowed.

Stage Company auditions

Charleston Stage Company will hold auditions for the ensemble monologue show "Love, Loss and What I Wore" at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. Cast size is flexible, and roles are available for women of all ages.

The comedy is by Nora and Delia Ephron, adapted from Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name. It's a compilation of tales about clothing and the memories and events they stir.

W.Va. Justice League comic

With the release of its new "Justice League of America" series on Wednesday, DC Comics is putting out the first issue with different covers for each of the 50 states. The image is a take on the famous "Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima" photo and features the series' main characters hoisting each state's flag.

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. tickets

On April 6, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. will perform a benefit concert for the Community Music Association and Junior Achievement of West Virginia at the Municipal Auditorium. The concert, "Murphy Meets Motown," will feature new and old tunes from Murphy, as well as an appearance by the Charleston Ballet.

Blues Fest VIP tickets

VIP tickets for the Charlie West Blues Fest, held May 17-18 at Haddad Riverfront Park, are on sale now. They are $30 Friday, $60 Saturday or $75 for both. Tickets include VIP seating, a program and food and beverage in a VIP hospitality tent.

This year's lineup for the annual event includes Kim Wilson & The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ana Popovic, Magic Slim & The Teardrops, Davina & The Vagabonds, Bryan Lee & The Power Blues Band and Tinsley Ellis.

Film soundtrack competition

Local hardcore hip hop rap duo Brain Trauma is in a competition to have its music appear in an upcoming horror film called "Pathos." To vote for the group, like the film's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pathosmovie) and to make a wall post in support of Brain Trama. The band celebrates its 10-year anniversary in October.
