CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A new episode of the web show "Radio Free Charleston" is online now at the PopCult blog (blogs.wvgazette.com/popcult). It's dedicated entirely to a trippy, hypnotic film of a performance by Charleston's bellydance and electronica duo, The Snake and the Pot.

'RFC' producer Rudy Panucci recorded The Snake and the Pot at the December 2012 ArtWalk, at Apartment Earth Studios off of Hale Street. Amanda Jane danced and painted with her feet while Duane Swanson III and guest musician Jordan Trent provided ambient/progressive backup music.

The footage has been enhanced with video and animation effects by Panucci, in what he describes as an evening of "ambient-progressive-electronic-bellydancing music."

The Snake and the Pot can be seen regularly at Little India, 1604 Washington St. East. Learn more about them at their Facebook page at facebook.com/snakepot.
