On Saturday and Sunday, Chief Logan State Park hosts a free Civil War heritage weekend. Daily activities include battle re-enactments at 2 p.m., hayrides from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., President Lincoln speaking from a train (12:30 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday) and living history demonstrations.
On Saturday, there's also a ladies tea with Mrs. Lincoln at 11 a.m., a dance with music from the era by the Towner Street String Band at 8 p.m. and children's activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday also includes a Civil War church service at 10:30 a.m.

The indie drama "Angel's Perch," about a family's struggle with Alzheimer's disease, screens at 7 p.m. Monday at Marquee Cinemas at Southridge. The film was shot almost entirely in West Virginia.
