At 3 p.m. Sunday, PipeSounds presents a symphonic pops concert by David Hegarty and Mike Barnhouse at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church, 2848 Putnam Ave., Hurricane. A reception follows.
Hegarty, the longtime organist for San Francisco's Castro Theatre, will perform on the Harrah Symphonic Organ. Barnhouse will perform on the concert grand piano.

Chamber music concert
Chrysalis, the flute and piano duo of Lindsey Goodman and Robert Frankenberry, will perform a concert of 21st century chamber music at 7 p.m. Sunday at Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, 1009 Virginia St. E. The program includes the world premiere of "A Conscious Stream" by Pittsburgh composer David Stock, who will be in attendance.

The Actors Guild of Parkersburg will hold auditions for "Shrek the Musical" Sunday through Tuesday at its building, 724 Market St. Performance dates are May 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18.
Children's roles audition at 2 p.m. Sunday; adult roles audition at 6 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 p.m. Monday. Callbacks are at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Those auditioning should be prepared to sing, read excerpts from the script and dance. Bring clothes you can dance in and wear shoes that tie.
Seven lead roles are available -- three male (Shrek, Pinocchio and Lord Farquaad) and four female (Fiona, Donkey, Gingy and Dragon). The show also requires a large ensemble.

Youth art submissions sought
Art-for-ALL is a new juried art exhibition for students in grades pre-K through six in Boone, Clay, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln and Putnam counties that will take place during FestivALL in the Clay Center lobby. It is accepting submissions through April 1.
There are three categories: 2D (painting, drawing, photography, collage, mixed media, printing and graphic arts), 3D (sculpture, pottery, woodcrafts, glass, jewelry, textiles, mixed media and constructions with recycled materials) and video (a maximum of five minutes).
Work may be submitted by children and their parents or by teachers. To enter, send a .jpg of the work and contact information to Artfor...@festivALLcharleston.com.
Those accepted to the exhibit will be notified by May 1. All submitted work will be included in a slideshow on the FestivALL and Clay Center websites.
