CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Love bites at the Alban Arts Center this Valentine's Day -- literally. That's when the St. Albans theater, 65 Olde Main St., opens its production of "Dracula," adapted from Bram Stoker's novel.
Set in the 1920s London sanitarium of Dr. Seward, it finds the Transylvanian Count stalks the foggy back alleys of England, drinking the blood of helpless victims. The play, directed by Norman Clerc, features Aaron Sheppard as Dracula, Gary Brown as Van Helsing, Rick Fleenor as Dr. Seward, Jeremy Burns as Harker and Emily Dunn as Lucy.
