July Fourth at Stonewall
WESTON, W.Va. -- Stonewall Resort has planned a full week of activities for guests for the Fourth of July celebration.
General manager Mike Hager said the resort will present fireworks displays on June 30 and July 7. The events are open to the public with a $5 park entry fee. Guests can watch the fireworks from the new pedestrian boardwalk that spans Stonewall Jackson Lake.
During the day, overnight guests can enjoy cruises on the lake. Canoes, kayaks and pontoon boats may be rented. Segway tours are also available. Golf is available on the Arnold Palmer Signature Course.
Guests who book three consecutive nights by June 30 will receive a $100 resort gift card.

July Fourth at Camden Park
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The traditional "Fantastic Fireworks" will begin at 10 p.m. July Fourth at Camden Park, off Interstate 64 in Huntington. Earlier in the day, Jabberwocky will play two shows, at 3 and 7 p.m.
The park has more than 25 rides and attractions, plus games, an arcade, paddleboats and 18-hole miniature golf. Its newest ride, The Rattler, opens the first week of July.
There will be a 50 percent discount on regular general admission for all members of the military (show military ID at the admission booth).
