ST. ALBANS, W.Va. -- The St. Albans Historical Society has recently reprinted the 300-page "History of St. Albans," containing hundreds of photos and town history.
The book costs $60 and is available at the Curiosity Shop on Main Street in St. Albans.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Brenda Chaput, who grew up in Bluefield, has published a mystery titled "Wake Me Nots: Please Don't Disturb Me Till I Find Out What Happens!"
The book is a collection of 18 short mystery thrillers. In "Murder Warranted," two teens decide their teacher "has got to die." Being buried alive is the plot of "Wish Me to Death."
