CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Artists are being invited to make ornaments again this year for the holiday tree at the West Virginia governor's mansion.
Last year West Virginia artists submitted 113 ornaments. The state Division of Culture and History says Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and first lady Joanne Jaeger Tomblin will use those ornaments again along with this year's submissions.
Participating artists also will be featured in a commemorative catalog and invited to an opening celebration at the mansion.
Submissions are due by Nov. 23. They must include a short biography and a description of the ornament.
