CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Tryouts for the 2012-2013 Charleston Town Center Mall Teen Board will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Macy's Court. Applicants only need to attend one day.

The board is a volunteer program where students learn marketing, public relations, advertising, fashion, retail operations and more. Members participate in fashion shows, help at mall events, work in the mall office and serve as goodwill ambassadors for the mall.

At tryouts, students will complete an application and talk to a judging panel. They will also walk the runway, though modeling experience is not required. Students are selected based on their application information, personality, availability and interest.
