Group co-founder J.J. Johnson said West Virginia Paranormal Investigations explores and investigates reported supernatural activity. However, he said, often the ghostly goings-on are perfectly explainable and have nothing to do with ghosts.

Dave Spinks said his first brush with the spirit world came when he was just a teenager and led to a lifelong interest in the paranormal.
