Holiday ArtWalk

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A special holiday edition of ArtWalk will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 20 in downtown Charleston.

At Art Emporium, Kathy Boland's "People and Parlors: An Afternoon at The Greenbrier" will be featured. She'll discuss techniques and share stories of her experiences while at The Greenbrier. The exhibit will run Dec. 17 through Jan. 30.

Gallery Eleven is showcasing all its member artists with one or two paintings in their featured artist area for December.

The award-winning jewelry designs of Alexis Bittar will be shown at House of Luxe. Bittar's jewelry is hand-crafted in his own studio in Brooklyn, N.Y. There are three distinct lines within his collection: The Lucite, Elements and Miss Havasham.

The Purple Moon will feature vintage holiday decor, mid-century furnishings and accessories, with art by Glen Brogan, Chuck Hamsher and Sharon Stackpole.

New works in encaustic, oil, acrylic and works on paper can be seen at Chet Lowther Studio.

White Oak Photography is throwing an ugly Christmas sweater party as well as displaying new works by owner Michelle Krompecher.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 FestivALL Capitol Street Art Fair taking place June 29 and 30.
