Digital photo class

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Laura Moul will teach a three-part beginning digital photography class from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 23, Jan. 30 and Feb. 6 at Paintbrush Studio, 303-A Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston. Comic book art

ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University's Kennedy Museum of Art will host an exhibition of artist Sandy Plunkett's comic book art from Jan. 25 through June 2.

"Fantastic! The Comic Art of Sandy Plunkett" will feature about 50 works, exhibiting the progression from Plunkett's early days in the comic book industry to his recent independent and commercial works.

The Kennedy Museum of Art is free and open to the public, and is located on the Ohio University campus in Athens. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
