King attended West Virginia State University, where she took part in many extracurricular activities, and now volunteers in the medical records office at Montgomery General Hospital.
Children's Therapy Clinic is a private, nonprofit organization that provides speech, occupational and physical therapy services and an autism socialization program to children with special needs who have inadequate insurance and/or income.

Landau Murphy to sing
