Advertiser

RAINELLE, W.Va. -- Rainelle Mayor Andrea Pendleton is asking the public for help as the town plans for its 100th anniversary celebration.

The celebration is scheduled for April 25 through April 29.

Pendleton tells WVVA-TV that the Celebration Committee needs ideas and volunteers to work at the event.

Tentative plans include an opening ceremony, an antique car show, a parade, muzzle loader and archery competitions, and a Rainelle Centennial Idol singing competition. Pendleton says nothing has been finalized yet.
