Berry good

Hartley Farms in Cottageville will have freshly picked strawberries for sale at Capitol Market May 24-26 and will continue to offer them throughout the production season on the weekends only.

Strawberries are $3 a pound or $10 for 4 pounds at the market, and are usually all sold by mid-morning. Call 304-372-6993.

Downtown coffee

The Daily Cup, previously in South Charleston, has relocated to downtown Charleston on the corner of Summers and Virginia streets. In addition to coffee, espresso and other coffee drinks, the restaurant offers frappes, smoothies, teas, beer and wine.

Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, quiche and oatmeal are available, as well as panini sandwiches, soups, salads and baked goods.
