Cowen Railroad Festival
COWEN, W.Va. -- The Cowen Historical Railroad Festival continues July 21-28 in Cowen, Webster County.
The festival includes pageants, live entertainment, a pig roast and contests for children and adults. A craft show, grand feature parade, a car show and other main events will take place July 27. The train show is July 26-28.

Jackson County Fair
COTTAGEVILLE, W.Va. -- The Jackson County Junior Fair runs July 22-27 at the fairgrounds near Cottageville.

'Aracoma Story' to open
LOGAN, W.Va. -- "The Aracoma Story" opens July 23 and runs through Aug. 4 at Chief Logan State Park.
The outdoor drama tells about the 200-year-old love story of Princess Aracoma and British soldier Boling Baker.
