The FARM2U Collaborative is a grass-roots non-profit organization dedicated to the culinary, cultural heritage and agri-tourism industries in West Virginia and the Appalachian Region.

The Wine Shop at Capitol Market is holding an evening of sampling Austrian wines at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10.
Klaus Wittauer of Select Wines will be on hand for the tasting of eight wines from Austria. Each wine will be paired with a small bite selection from Luisa DiTrapano of Cucina Luisa.

Blennerhassett Island brunch
PARKERSBURG -- A morning cruise to Blennerhassett Island for a brunch at the mansion will leave at 10 a.m. Thursday from Point Park in downtown Parkersburg.
Cost is $39.95 per person, and includes the round-trip sternwheeler ride, a guided tour of the Blennerhassett Mansion, brunch, a narrated wagon ride tour, a self-guided tour of the Blennerhassett Museum, and a program by an actress portraying Margaret Blennerhassett.
