HMOA exhibit closing
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- A closing reception for "The Art of Teaching Art: Marshall University Visual Art Faculty Show" will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Huntington Museum of Art. Admission is free.
The exhibit is presented by the HMOA and the visual arts faculty at the Marshall University College of Arts and Media (formerly the College of Fine Arts). The exhibit concludes Feb. 2; it includes sculpture, drawing, prints, paintings, textiles and video/animation.
The Huntington Museum of Art, 2033 McCoy Road, Huntington, is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The museum is closed to the public on Mondays. Admission is free on Tuesdays and on other days is $5 per person and free to children younger than 18; free to veterans and their immediate families; and free to active-duty military personnel and their immediate families.
