CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia native Morgan Spurlock is best known for his films "Super Size Me" and, more recently, "One Direction: This is Us." Now he's casting a pilot for what his casting director calls "a popular children's network," and he's looking for children between the ages of 10 and 13 -- maybe even a few from his home state.
"It will be a documentary series just for kids," said Claresa Mandola, casting director with Warrior Poets, Spurlock's New York City production company.
"We'd love to feature some Charleston kids!" she added.
The company is looking for a particular kind of child to portray, those who, for one reason or another, don't always fit in with their peers. A casting call posted on Facebook identifies some of the traits producers are looking for:
