  • Reserve some quiet time with yourself.
  • Surround yourself with positive people.
  • Dance.
  • Mentor young people.
  • Spend less time looking into a screen.
  • Get outside for a little sunshine and crisp air.

  • Write a poem to someone you love (it doesn't have to rhyme).
  • Find time to be around giggling children.
  • Stretch yourself -- take a pottery, art or music lesson.
  • Sing.
  • Make a stranger feel loved by taking a moment to ask how their day was.
  • Recycle and don't be wasteful.
  • Take a warm bath and enjoy it by candlelight.
  • Take fish oil every day.
  • Exchange Facebook time for exercise time.
  • Donate shoes, coats and clothing you never wear.
  • Worship.
  • Enter each day consciously by approaching life with intention.
  • Here is to 2013, a year that opens doors to all the best life has to offer to you.
