At the stringing, a packet of note cards with photographs of Manna Meal garden will be available for a $15 donation. The donations will support the garden, now in its fifth year of production and providing the soup kitchen with about 3,000 pounds of fresh produce a year.
Manna Meal, at St. John's Episcopal Church, serves two meals a day every day to the hungry.
Savannah's Restaurant honored
Huntington's Savannah's Restaurant once again has received the 2013 Wine Spectator Magazine "Award of Excellence" for its wine list and chef Matt Parkins' new American cuisine.
The award is given to restaurants that offer a well-chosen selection of quality wines with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Savannah's has received the award every year since 1999.

The Greenhouse of Teays Valley is giving a class in making sushi -- no raw fish is included -- at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Cost is $35 a person.
A cake pop decorating class begins at 6:30 p.m. July 25, and is taught by Holly Hale. Cost is $25.
Chef Joe Reckard will teach a grilling class at 4 p.m. Aug. 3. Cost is $35, which includes dinner, beer and wine.
