CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Heart Gallery, a traveling photography exhibit that features portraits of West Virginia foster children who are eligible for adoption, will be at Ryan's restaurant on Corridor G at 6 p.m. May 2. A short program will be followed by dinner.
The purpose of the exhibit, titled "The Heart Gallery of West Virginia -- Portraits of Hope," is give a face and voice to children who may be adopted. By sharing their stories, the Heart Gallery hopes to touch hearts and find families for the children. Children waiting to be adopted will not be at the dinner, but social workers will be available to provide more information.
West Virginia photographers have volunteered their services to photograph the children featured in the Heart Gallery. They are Amberlee Christey Photography, Main Street Studios, David Robinson Photography, Heather Smith Photography and Life Images Studio.
