Pink Double Delight coneflowers are on short stems with heavy, double-blossom heads.

I love coneflowers, and Echinacea purpurea'Pink Double Delight' is a pretty "Pantone Honeysuckle" species. The spectacular flowers are more consistently double than 'Razzmatazz' and are held on shorter, stronger stems that are better able to support the heavy flower heads. These are short enough for mixed containers as well as sunny borders.

I've seen a few selections from the Proven Winners line of hybrid petunias called "Supertunia" that fit this color scheme. "Bermuda Beach" (a coral-pink bloom) and "Sangria Charm" (more purple-pink) have free-flowing blooms, are drought and heat tolerant and attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
