Train trip to Chicago
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- A round-trip train excursion April 17-21 to Chicago by private railcars is being offered by the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society.
The Windy City Express leaves Huntington as the rear cars on Amtrak's Cardinal.

Easter at Stonewall
WESTON, W.Va. -- Stonewall Resort State Park is offering limited-time rates for Easter weekend, March 29-31, of $79 a night.
A lavish Easter brunch is planned in Stillwater's Restaurant at $32 for adults, $16 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children age 5 and younger.
The Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course opens March 30 with $55 rates.
Also, on March 30, at 1 p.m., the Great Easter Egg Hunt, which last year attracted nearly 400 egg seekers, will take place at the resort's Roanoke Activity Plaza. The hunt is free, but a $3 per-car fee will be charged for those not staying at the resort.

Twin Falls photo workshop
MULLENS, W.Va. -- Photographers Steve Shaluta and Steven Rotsch are instructors for the annual spring photography workshop April 12-14 at Twin Falls Resort State Park, near Mullens.
The workshop is for photographers of all skill levels with digital and film cameras and will cover equipment use, image composition, natural lighting, people in images, action photography, capturing wildlife, digital imaging and computer software use. Participants should bring their own cameras and equipment.
The package costs $149 per person, based on double occupancy at Twin Falls Lodge. The weekend includes two nights' lodging, the workshop fee, a full lunch Saturday and Sunday, and break refreshments.
