Kylie Seaton, 15, of Barboursville waits her turn Saturday, to model a dress she designed made of maps and a bustle with a globe nestled in the back, at the seventh annual Re-Fashion Show at the Charleston Town Center Mall. Charleston Newspapers was among the sponsors of the event, which was organized by the Recycling Coalition of West Virginia. It challenged designers to create outfits with recyclable or reused materials, such as newspapers and shopping bags. Seaton won the General Theme Challenge. Melissa Ashman, 14, of Spencer won first place for best overall design in the age 14 and over category, and in the Charleston Newspaper Challenge. Sierra Rouse, won first place for best overall design in the age 13 and under category. Elaine Ashman, 14, of Spencer, won the Coca-Cola Challenge, for her Coke product cocktail dress. Elizabeth St. Clair won the CTC Mall Shopping Challenge for her Starbucks Asian design.
