Churches plan trip to Billy Graham Library
Advertiser

Bob Withers, pastor of Seventh Avenue Baptist Church, and his wife, Sue Ann, are planning a two-day bus trip from Huntington and Charleston to the new Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, N.C., on June 20-21. The tour is open to the public.

On the trip south, travelers will stop at Tamarack near Beckley for lunch and shopping on West Virginia Day. The party will stay overnight at the Courtyard by Marriott-Arrowood in southwest Charlotte, and will stop at the Concord Mills Outlet Mall in Concord, N.C., on the return trip.

The Billy Graham Library includes a building that houses memorabilia from Graham's 60 years of crusade ministry around the world. The library complex features the reconstructed two-story brick home where Graham lived as a child. Travelers also may visit the prayer garden and the grave of Billy Graham's wife, Ruth Bell Graham, who died on June 14, 2007, just two weeks after the library was dedicated. The library includes a bookstore and a café where the bus passengers will have lunch.

Fares, which cover transportation and lodging, are $200 per person for those in a single room, $150 per person if two people share a room, $130 per person if three share a room and $120 if four share a room. Checks should be made payable to Sue Ann Withers and mailed to her at 313 Main St., Huntington, WV 25702. For information, call 522-2046.
