Nicholas man indicted on federal gun charge

A federal grand jury in Charleston indicted a Nicholas County man Tuesday on charges of illegally selling guns, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.

According to the indictment, Randy Edwards, 39, of Summersville, sold guns around Summersville and Mount Lookout between January 2004 and April 2008, although he was not a licensed dealer.

If convicted, Edwards faces up to five years in prison and fines of up to $250,000.

In a separate case, a Charleston woman was indicted on various drug charges.

Wanda Elaine Folden, 41, is accused of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and using someone under the age of 18 to avoid detection and arrest while she was dealing drugs.

Also Tuesday, the grand jury indicted Wayne L. Henderson, age and hometown unavailable, on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
