Anniversaries Power House of Deliverance Church, 512 Carver St., Dunbar, will have its 31st pastoral anniversary services for Bishop Melvin and Elder Elaine Mosley from Sept. 8-14. Guest speakers at 7 p.m. daily, Sept. 8-12, are Pastor Darin Freeman of Metropolitan Baptist Church, Bishop Norman Jones of Greater Emmanuel Gospel Tabernacle, Pastor Gary Edwards of Riverview Baptist Church, Pastor Bruce Hogan of Rimson Memorial COGIC, Pastor Priscilla Dixon of God's Re-Creation Christian Center in Pittsburgh. There will be a banquet at the Marriott Hotel at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 13. The guest speaker will be Bishop Leonard Tucker of New Beginning Full Gospel Church, Uniontown, Pa. Guest speaker at the 11 a.m. Sept. 14 service will be Pastor Yvonne Law of Living Waters Apostolic Tabernacle, Beckley.

The Biblically based Kanawha Creation Science Group will meet the first Thursday of the month, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. at Greater Things Fellowship Church to uplift Jesus Christ as the Creator. Food, a creation science video and discussion will be featured. To get to the church, take Interstate 64, exit 56, Montrose Drive. Turn left on Montrose Drive and then left on Kanawha Turnpike. Make a right at the second street, Tremont Street. Turn right at the end of this street onto Highland Avenue. The church is on the left near the end of Highland Avenue. Perrow Church, 5345 Big Tyler Road, Cross Lanes, will present the focus on the family training conference, "The Truth Project," via satellite on Sept. 27 at the church. The conference features Dr. Del Tackett, the author of "The Truth Project Curriculum." The interactive one-day training helps provide small group leadership training. Doors open at 9 a.m., with the simulcast running from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $109 through Perrow Church. The First United Methodist Church, 905 Glendale Ave., South Charleston, will sponsor a Way Out Wednesday "WOW" program for kids ages 4 through the 12th grade. The program is held on all Wednesdays that the Kanawha County schools are in session. Hours will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. beginning Sept. 10 in the church's social hall. Metropolitan Bible Institute will resume classes on Sept. 17 at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Wednesday Bible Study begins Sept. 17 at noon and from 7 to 9 p.m. The topic will be "The History of the Baptist Church." The "Church History" will be offered from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 18 and the cost is $70. Starting Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, "Survey the Old Testament" will be offered for $70. Young members of Church of Jesus Christ at Ohley will join the fight against childhood cancer by hosting the second annual Alex's Lemonade Stand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2700 Mountaineer Blvd., South Charleston. The stand will feature lemonade, baked goods and balloons. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who decided to start a stand to help raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Scott died in 2004.
East Point Apostolic Church, 140 East Point Drive, will sponsor a Sunday breakfast from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at the church, located on East Point Drive off Kanawha Boulevard across from the Moose Lodge. The cost is $5 per plate, which includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, fried potatoes and coffee, milk or juice. A child's plate, ages 10 and under, is available for $2.50. New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church will have a prayer breakfast at 9 a.m. today. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Pastor James D. Music
The Clendenin First Baptist Church, Virginia Avenue and Jarrett Street, Clendenin, will have a special Praise Concert at 7 p.m. on Sept. 7. The concert will feature The Boyd Family from Belle. A love offering will be taken.
The Homeland Southern Gospel Sing will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 5 at Mount Tabor Church of God, Dry Ridge Road, St. Albans.
Shrewsbury Community Church will have a song and praise service featuring Nicholas Naylor at 7 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments will be served in the church annex after the sing.
Bethlehem Baptist Church of Witcher, 2013 DuPont Ave. E., Belle, will feature the Songsmen and Linda at 7 p.m. today. Refreshments will be served.
A benefit sing for accident victim Vickie Campbell will be held at noon today at Jordan Mound Gospel Tabernacle. Randy White Family, Calvary Tones, Old Timers, Gospel Way and more will perform. First Baptist Church of Vandalia, 1500 Mountain Road, will have a musical program at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the church. The Spiritual Harmonizers, Martin Luther King Jr. Male Chorus and Ebenezer Trio will perform. The sing is sponsored by the male chorus group at the church.

Revivals
Revival services will be held at 7 p.m. nightly, Sunday through Sept. 6 at Fisher Memorial Church. Pastor Aaron Finney will preach on Sunday; the Rev. David Cook will be evangelist Monday through Sept. 6. Special singing will be held each night. The church is located 1/2 mile on Dudden Road off the Goldtown exit of Interstate 77.

Good Shepherd Free Will Baptist Church will have a praise and worship service on Sunday. Pastor Jason C. Black will be preaching at the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services. Special singing at 6 p.m. will feature The Church Singers. A Wednesday prayer meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jason Black preaching. Youth services start at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the church. Mount Olivet Baptist Music Convention will combine with the Paint Creek District for its Two Hundred Quarterly session today and Sunday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Morris Drive, Montgomery. Youth session is 7 p.m. today and the general session is 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Youth choirs, liturgical dancers, instruments and more will be featured on youth nigh. Youth Director Jason J.
