Grammy Award-winner Harry Connick Jr. will perform Friday, Nov. 21, at the Clay Center. The show is a late addition to the Clay Center's 2008-09 performance season and is part of the jazz performer's upcoming "A Holiday Celebration" tour.
The tour will feature selections from the jazz pianist and vocalist's "What A Night! A Christmas Album," due in stores Nov. 4.
Connick's last performance in Charleston was at the Municipal Auditorium in May 2004.
The Nov. 21 show is sponsored by BrickStreet Insurance and Dow Chemical. Patrons with season and Pick 4 tickets will have first priority to purchase tickets during the special pre-sale next week. Pick 4 packages are available through the Clay Center box office. Single tickets go on sale to the public Oct. 13.
Tickets range from $55 to $100 and can be purchased online at www.theclaycenter.org or through the Clay Center box office.
