The Buffalo Soldier motorcycle association is the largest black motorcycle group in the world, and memorializes black "Buffalo Soldiers" in the military who were some of the most respected cavalry and infantry units of their time.

As a WV native and long time resident I for one applaud the efforts of this group. As a white man and highly educated in great schools I missed this part of history, or did my professors fail to teach it to me. I had to look up on the net the history of the 9th and 10th and wow, I was impressed and a bit shocked at the great deeds and exploits of this very proud and effective unit of the frontier Army. It’s time we explore the other side of history dealing with all cultures and start giving respect where respect is earned, and I say without a doubt the Buffalo Soldiers have earned their place in history.
Thank you motor cycles riders for improving the image of riders and gangs all over. I wish all clubs conducted themselves as your group did while visiting my town. Your group is always welcome back to my birth place and the place my family calls home.
Ride soldier ride!!

Abe & Ike says,
The Black Buffalo Soliders are a grand part of this nation called america, and the living familys of that generation are proud to keep that history alive.
It basically comes down to Don’t forget your history , nor your destiny .
Thats why America is in trouble today, people have forgotten their history of their ancestors and what impact it has on "todays" generations.
Not only the Buffalo Soliders, but later in life black men that lived and were educated right here in this Kanawha valley at West Virginia State College(then) were heros of this nation with very little parised, they were the Fighting 99th Flying Squardon.
They gave all, just like the black Buffalo Soliders, but gained very little respect from their accomplisments in their days of glory.
