FFA Foundation starts new scholarship
The West Virginia FFA Foundation is starting a scholarship for FFA members who are seeking a career to become an agriculture education teacher or FFA advisor.
People and businesses are encouraged to make a donation in honor of a past or present agriculture teacher who has been influential to their successes in life.
Send donations and name of honoree to WV FFA Foundation, c/o William C. West, 210 West St., Ripley, WV 25271.
Putnam offers development screenings
Putnam County Schools developmental screenings will be held Dec. 5 at Teays Valley Presbyterian Church on Teays Valley Road.
Children ages 2 1/2 to 4 will be screened for speech/language, hearing, vision, motor skills, social skills, self-help and cognition. Call 586-0500 to schedule an appointment.
