HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- A pair of huge new video displays will be keeping fans of Thundering Herd athletics informed all day every day, and, the university hopes, will bring new advertisers on board.
Marshall University says the two displays -- more than 7 feet tall and 14 feet long -- have been installed at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
The electronic displays will go online this week and will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The screens will not only carry information about Herd athletic events, but will also provide opportunities for the school to bring in more advertising dollars.
