Boil-water advisory lifted for South Charleston residents

West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for customers in the Coventry Lane and Ridges of Rabel Mountain areas in South Charleston.

The advisory was issued late Thursday evening after a water main break.

Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water before consumption, according to a news release issued Saturday morning.
