CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- In honor of Earth Day and in celebration of its birthday, the Habitat for Humanity's ReStore will hold a special sale Thursday<co April 22>. All items will be discounted 10 percent. Drinks and snacks will be served all day, and photographs of ReStored Projects will be on display.
A workshop will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Aimee Neeley Figgatt will help participants of all ages make bird feeders, planting pots and bird baths out of recycled materials from the ReStore. Registration is required by calling 304-941-3288.
The ReStore is a building materials resale store. Used and surplus materials are donated to and sold at the ReStore. All proceeds from the ReStore fund the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes in Kanawha and Putnam Counties.
