CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The glitzy guest list for the July 2 grand opening of The Greenbrier Casino Club just keeps getting longer.

Jessica Simpson and Shaquille O'Neal are just some of the big names who will attend the event to commemorate the casino's opening, Greenbrier owner Jim Justice announced Monday.

"The grand opening of the Casino Club will be really spectacular, and the tremendous interest among celebrities and long-time guests validates my belief that The Greenbrier will continue to be an elite travel destination for a long time," Justice said in a prepared statement.

The price for attending the event is $850, which includes a walk on the red carpet, a black tie dinner and a seat for a concert by Lionel Ritchie.

The Greenbrier will complete construction on the 102,000-square-foot, underground entertainment complex in less than a year, Justice announced.

Celebrities who are expected to attend the opening include: Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck; Raquel Welch; Brooke Shields; Jane Seymour; Debbie Reynolds; Jack Nicklaus; Ann Magnuson; Carleton Varney; Lee Trevino; Elliott Gould; Christine Ebersole; Phyllis George; Michael Buffer; and Tom Watson, The Greenbrier's Golf Professional Emeritus
