Berea Seventh-day Adventist Church will have a church yard sale from 1 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 1 at 216 Highland Ave., South Charleston. Proceeds are going toward the Adventurers Club children's ministry.

The 14th annual West Virginia School of Gospel Music will be held Monday through Friday at Fisher Memorial Church, located 1/2 mile on Dudden Road off the Goldtown exit of Interstate 77, 18 miles north of Charleston.
